MACE SHACKLE GLOVES (Fat Tony)

Got these gloves along with a pair of Mace Evac shorts for my birthday and I've been riding with them for a couple of months now...

THE LOOK
Like the Evac shorts the Shackles are adorned with all sorts of cool details, neat stitching, logos on the fingers and protection in all the right places and I'm surprised by how much I like the 'slip on' design as opposed to the usual velcro fastening found on most gloves.

IN USE
Whilst the slip-on setup makes it slightly more difficult to put on and remove the glove feels a bit like a second skin once it's on. It's not a bulky, padded glove and as a result seems to give a bit more of the freedom of movement I get when i ride gloveless. The build has so far proved good with only a small area of stitching having come away on the towling area after skidding along the ground on them. The Mace sticker details on the finger tips haven't held up and are clearly not much use for additional lever grip and I don't think the mace palm logo will be too far behind either!

OVERALL
I really like the Shackles although some of the 'trimmings' could do with beefing up (eg. those finger tip grips) and I think they look really sweet, the design is clean with no unnecessary bulk and they fit like a erm...glove!
